Tax Exempt Status

We are proud to announce that Stories of Autism is now a non-profit corporation in the State of Washington and with 501(c)3 tax exempt status from the IRS pending. (We anticipate attaining this status in the second quarter of 2010.) Stories of Autism is now able to accept charitable donations however it must be noted that these donations can not be claimed as a tax deduction until we are granted the tax exempt status. Should you choose to donate before tax exempt status is granted to us, you will be notified when that status is granted so you may claim your donation on your next tax return.
